Last night I went out on my deck and recorded some night sounds. A white dot is the Moon!
Have the sound on!

When to think about it, this post should be before the last one as I went to Colorado at the very end of August. The temps were brutal, on average 95F- 97F (35 C- 36C) in shade. It was particularly bad because we had to wear masks most of the time because of the COVID-19!!! More, the air was full of smoke due to local and California fires. Fortunately, at some point it cleared a little bit and higher up the mountains it was quite okay. Planned to go to Utah, the Arches, but canceled as temperature there was about 107F/ 42C- yuck...
So practically it's the end of September, all of the sudden. It has been a productive month but wanted to share one activity I really enjoyed. It was a hike to Mt Laconte. There were many stairs there, wooden or made out of stone and the whole thing reminded me of the Hobbit movies! Really, in some places it looked like we were entering Mordor! Definitely worth of trouble (read: hurting for three days after walking up and down too many steps!)
