House of Cats

 

Two random pictures of Hana and Huba because the girls deserve it. It's been about one month with no puking or peeing, which I consider a great success. Especially that Hana has a separation anxiety on top of being just... herself.

 

 

Hans was hiding under the bed, and Helen - who knows. Both totally missed the golden opportunity and will have to have their pictures taken some other time!

The Jungle...

The weather is still very hot. Over the weekend, however, temps were somewhat more bearable, meaning, it was about 84F-29C in the shade, so I decided to use it and go for a hike. It was quite interesting- part of the trail led through the jungle-like woods, and I also passed some very mysterious stone structures. My guess is they were used in the past to store water but I might be- and probably am- wrong. There was no one to ask. They were at the beginning of the trail, close to the road and nearby, now defunct mill. Any ideas?

 

Lava Lamp

I got my Lava Lamp quite cheap and have never suspected that it would bring so much wonder into my life... Seriously!
But here is a catch: it actually looks the best before it warms up properly. For about 10-15 minutes, depending on room temperature, it comes to life and wax takes mysterious forms as it was a breathing creature.

Helen and the Lava Lamp

I honestly think I could devote the whole blog to Helen only. She is the baby in the family... Everyone's favorite.
And she know it!

 

On a totally different note: as I was going through some older pictures, I re-discovered those of the lava lamp that I keep in my office. Need to upload them ASAP, the whole series. So intriguing!
